Veteran musician Baba Fryo has ignited a heated discussion in the Nigerian music scene after he accused upcoming artist Nasboi of stealing lyrics from his iconic song, “Denge Pose.”
Baba Fryo took to social media to express his discontent, asserting that his work was exploited and demanding credit where credit is due.
This comes after Nasboi dropped a recent track titled ‘Short Skirt’ in which he borrowed the lyrics ‘Denge Pose’ from Baba Fryo.
Fryo warned Nasboi to reach out to him as soon as possible before he takes action.

This has led to a flurry of opinions on social media platforms, with some fans advocating for artists to pay homage to their predecessors and others dismissing the situation as a desperate cry for attention.
In addition, some netizens speculated that it was a clever publicity stunt obviously initiated by Nasboi himself to make him the talk of the town following the release of his latest song.
