It’s been a rough couple of seasons for the Los Angeles Clippers.

After trading for both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard a few years ago, the team hasn’t been able to deliver on all its potential.

Due to some ill-timed injuries and a very competitive Western Conference, the Clippers have shown progress, but not enough.

Last season was particularly tough because Leonard sat out the entire year due to injury and rehabilitation.

But Leonard is coming back and the Clippers are obviously very excited.

They revealed a brand new wallpaper on their Twitter page and it has Leonard front and center, rising above the rest of his squad like the true leader he is.

With him back on board, George in good shape, and a very key new addition, the Clippers are here to make up for lost time.

Leonard’s LA

Leonard is one of the best players in the NBA so losing him for a whole season was incredibly hard for the Clippers.

In that time, the Golden State Warriors have surged back to the top of the league, the East has become dominated by the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and others, and the Clippers’ southland companions, the Lakers, have fallen into disarray.

In other words, it’s time for the Clippers to return in a big way.

Leonard will be at the center of it all, of course, but George will also be a massive part of the team’s success.

And newcomer John Wall, who also hasn’t played basketball for the league in over a year, could be a huge X-factor that could take them to a whole other level.

Leonard is back – and that means the Clippers might be as well.
