Mama left me and I lost myself — Wizkid writes about an “expensive pain”

• Nigerian multi-award winning singer, Wizkid has wrote about an expensive pain.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, continues to lament the death of his mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun.

He said his mama left him and he lost himself. He can feel himself again but he is grateful his fans are going through it with him.

GISTLOVER previously reported that the highly regarded singer, who is set to release an EP titled ‘S2’ on Friday, December 22nd, took to Instagram Stories to reveal the tracklist for the project.

Wizkid recalled a sad experience when he wrote one of the songs, ‘Idk,’ which features Zlatan Ibile, a few days after his mother died.

He went on to say that life has been meaningless for him since she died, but he has remained strong.
