In his message, Jalang’o said, “Man a bad man! Big Donald say it as it is Congratulations!”
A netizen identified as Vikta however noted that it was sad for Jalang’o to celebrate a person who even doesn’t know him.
“Na hata hakujui msee too sad,” Vikta’s comment read.
In his response, Jalang’o said that Vikta was also commenting on his post and he doesn’t know him.
“Vile wewe uko kwa comment na sikujui. Too sad, maandishi haya si mageni,” he said.
Trump beat Kamala Harris to become the 47th president after clinching 277 electoral votes. Kamala settled for 224 electoral votes.
Other Kenyan leaders who have congratulated him include ousted DP Rigathi Gachagua and Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi.
“Congratulations President Donald Trump, for one of the greatest political come-backs of our generation. Your victory is clear proof that resilience and a never-say-die attitude will always TRUMP obstacles on the path to your destiny. God Bless You. God Bless America,” Gachagua wrote on social media.
Sudi on the other hand said, “Congratulations, President Donald Trump, on your resounding victory. Mtu wa mawaya kama mimi who prefers actions over words, not just grandiose speeches filled with empty rhetoric.”
