Juventus are reportedly set to offer Aston Villa two players plus cash in an attempt to secure the transfer of midfielder Douglas Luiz.
The Serie A club are keen to reshape its squad under new head coach Thiago Motta, with Luiz, 26, identified as a key target.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa, facing Profit and Sustainability regulations, may need to raise funds through player sales.
This financial pressure could make a part-exchange deal with Juventus attractive.
According to Calciomercato, Juventus have proposed including midfielder Weston McKennie and winger Samuel Iling-Junior in the deal for Luiz.
McKennie, 25, who has Premier League experience from a loan spell with Leeds United, played 34 times for Juventus in Serie A last season.
Iling-Junior, a 20-year-old English winger who joined Juventus from Chelsea in 2020, made 24 Serie A appearances in the just concluded season.
Despite strong interest from Arsenal, who attempted to sign Luiz in the summer of 2022, the Brazilian extended his contract with Villa in October of that year.
Arsenal remain interested in Luiz, but Juventus’ latest offer might secure the transfer.
Douglas Luiz joined Aston Villa from Manchester City in 2019 and has since made 204 appearances for the club.
