Spain released the official squad on the social media account of the FA on Friday, June 7, 2024, ahead of Euro 2024. He included some of the players who were influential for the clubs in the Premier League. Some of the players, including the team are Rodri, David Raya, and Marc Cucurella but there was no place for Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro and Barcelona’s Pau Cubarsi.
Barcelona teenagers, Lamine Yamal, and Fermin Lopez were included but Pablo Gavi was ruled out of the list due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury. Real Madrid’s hero in the semi-final clash against Manchester City Joselu also got himself a place in the squad.
