Woman and her grandchildren in tears as Lagos govt. demolishes their house (Video)

A heart-wrenching video shows a woman named Koja and her grandchildren crying uncontrollably after their house was reportedly demolished by the Lagos State government.

According to a TikTok video posted by Oworotv on the 1st of August, the incident occurred in Oworonshoki, Lagos State.

The demolished house situated on Folorunsho Street was said to be owned by the woman who had been caring for her grandkids for over the past 16 years.

The clip depicted the woman and her grandkids in a state of distress, and despite attempts to console her, she remained inconsolable.

Mrs. Koja later disclosed that they received no prior notice about the demolition, and when they tried to capture the incident with pictures and videos, they faced harassment from the police.

The situation has left the family devastated and without their home.

Demolition of houses in Oworonshoki continues this morning as Mrs Koja’s House on Folorunsho street Oworonshoki is been demolished. As you can see, she is weeping profusely with her grandchildren that she has been taking care of for over 16yrs. Mrs Koja is all of us.
