Superstar Afrobeat singer, Davido Adeleke slams the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick while recalling how he misappropriated Nigerian footballers’ allowance.
This comes following an allegation levelled against the singer by the president of the Nigeria Football Federation for receiving a significant amount of $94,600 and failing to appear for a show.
Davido had earlier taken to his page on the X platform stating that he would hold back without speaking his mind on the issue.
However, hours later, he retired to his Instagram story where he lambasted Amaju Pinnick for embezzling funds paid to him by Fifa. The ‘Assurance’ singer concluded by insisting that the refund for the show will go to charity instead of handing it to Amaju.
In a series of Instagram story posts, Davido wrote;
“The man that dropped from the RR is Amaju Pinnick. he was NFF president for just 8 years. He was charged for allegedly misappropriating $8.4m paid by FIFA to NFF. I wont mention allegations of unpaid allowances by players when he was the president. Let’s play a game.”
He continued in another post, “I wanna donate money to @thenffofficial I been suffering for too long it’s no fair … let’s do something @puma. Warri Pple hate you ! And know ! Amaju come outside let’s talk!”
“If I’m returning any money I’ll return it to any football charity organization.. INFACT I will DOUBLE IT MR DREAM CRUSHER … imagine how many Nigerian footballers have had their dreams crushed because person one live for ikoyi by force,” he concluded.
