Six traders arrested for allegedly assaulting and blackmailing Lizzy Anjorin

The Chief Magistrate Court of Lagos Island Local Government charged about six vendors for assaulting Lizzy Anjorin.

 Lizzy Anjorin was arrested at the market after allegedly trying to buy the gold via a fake bank transfer.

On Monday at 1:30 p.m., within Oba Akintoye Market on Lagos Island, the six defendants and the two other individuals who are still at large committed the alleged charges, according to a statement released by the police on Thursday.

Lizzy Anjorin was physically harmed by the six traders, as well as two more who were reportedly at large, conspiring to push and drag her, the prosecution’s Sola Samuel told the court.
