Nigerian comedian and actor Bayegun Oluwatoyin, also known as Woli Arole, has announced plans to bail hundreds of prisoners awaiting trial at Agodi Prison in Ibadan.

Woli Arole revealed that during a recent visit to the prison, he  was informed that over 1,000 individuals are currently awaiting trial.

This experience he stated, had a profound impact on him.

In a recent post, Woli Arole expressed his intention to hire lawyers to assist in securing the release of as many prisoners as possible.

I was broken today when I was told that there are over 1000 awaiting trials at Agodi prison. Thank God, we are going to hire lawyers and see how we can bail as many that we can for free!!”, He stated.

Woli Arole’s announcement has been met with an outpouring of support and gratitude from his followers.
