Man rants over marriage list from bride’s family

A Nigerian man, who hails from Nnewi Anambra state, vents as he displays the marriage list given to him by the bride’s family.

The man identified as @Kene_Nnewi took to the platform to reveal that his bride-to-be’s family handed him a marriage list whose items contained many outrageous things.

It was gathered from the list that the man is expected to bring 12 cartons of beer, Big goat, 6 packets of cigarettes’ for the family.

Also, various gallons of the local Ngwa wine was also demanded of the man by the bride’s family.

Venting, the man lamented that everything regarding the money involved in marriage rites in the nation is out of control and characterized the behavior of his future in-laws as utter greed.

The man wrote …

“The marriage list we collected this morning… I decided not to speak. I just chill. To me…..This is craazy….and it’s getting more craazy everyday.”

“Before you tell me this list is cheap. A crate of Amstel malt is #9,200. This is pure greed…. We all have works to do at our umunna home and abroad general meeting.”
