The win was crucial for Liverpool, responding to Manchester City’s earlier victory over Everton and now leading the table by two points.
The match saw a good start for Liverpool, with Diogo Jota scoring a header from a corner.
However, Burnley managed to equalize before half-time, with Dara O’Shea scoring another header into the top corner.
Liverpool regained the lead with Luis Diaz poking in a goal, though Vincent Kompany expressed frustration, believing there was a foul in the build-up.
The win was sealed with Darwin Nunez adding another goal, maintaining his excellent scoring form so far this season.
