Jenelle Evans is worthy of redemption, according to her former “Teen Mom 2” co-stars Leah Messer and Briana DeJesus.
Messer, 30, and DeJesus, 28 — who appear on the new reality show “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter,” which combines “Teen Mom OG” and “TM2” into one — tell Page Six why they’d support Evans returning to the franchise.
“I think that I’m eager to see where she’s at in her life and whatever ultimately the executives decide is what they decide. I wish her the very best,” says Messer, though she hasn’t maintained a friendship with Evans, 30, since the latter was fired by MTV in 2019.
“I haven’t talked to Jenelle in a very long time. She was one of the original cast [members] of the show. And I knew her very well in that time,” she continues. “I don’t know [her] currently. Right now, I don’t have a relationship with her, honestly.”
Evans was exiled from “TM2” three years ago after her husband, David Eason, shot and killed their family dog. MTV had already cut ties with Eason, 32, a year prior after he posted homophobic tweets.
However, Evans makes a solo cameo on “The Next Chapter” at DeJesus’ infamous “I Won” party to celebrate a legal victory over Kailyn Lowry. Lowry, 30, previously filed a lawsuit against DeJesus for defamation, but a judge dismissed it in May.
“She put the effort in to make it and she came and it was good vibes,” DeJesus says of Evans, a resident of North Carolina who traveled to Florida to attend, while several invited “Teen Mom” personalities skipped out.
“It wasn’t like a bashing party where we were like, ‘F this, F that,’” she continues, certainly aware of Evans’ own issues with Lowry in the past.
“No, we were celebrating the next chapter of my life because that whole lawsuit was so stressful. Like, you can’t even imagine. It was crazy.”
DeJesus says her event — which featured pink balloons, cupcakes and signs that read “Bye Hoe” — was all the more fun with Evans back in the mix. (“Teen Mom” star Jade Cline also attended.)
“I won and I had to celebrate and Jenelle came,” she says. “And I feel like it was great.”
Days after DeJesus’ fête, Evans said she had the “best time” via TikTok.
“First of all, can I say I had the best time here? Everyone was so great, Briana’s friends. And not one time did we really care about talking about Kail,” she explained in a clip.
“I was going to her party to support her as a friend and she wanted me to come so I did. And really it’s not all the haters linked up. Kail is a big hater,” Evans elaborated. “So of course I’m gonna support Bri. Kail started s—t for no reason by filing this to begin with.”
Lowry claimed in her court complaint that DeJesus falsely accused her of physically assaulting ex Chris Lopez and breaking into his home. Lowry — who shares sons Lux, 5, and Creed, 2, with Lopez — was arrested after the alleged incident. The charges were eventually dropped.
The women first clashed over DeJesus’ months-long romance with Lowry’s ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, with whom Lowry shares son Lincoln, 8. Their feud spiraled on the internet and in person at “TM2” reunion specials.
Lowry decided to walk away from the franchise this year after 11 years, declining MTV’s offer to appear on “The Next Chapter.”
Messer, whose friendship with Lowry has recently deteriorated, remains apathetic about her exit.
“I think that, ultimately, it’s up to her and what she decides for her future,” the mother of three tells Page Six. “I think that I’m very happy in my life, I’m focused on my family and that’s what I’ll continue to do.”
