Ahead of his bout against Tommy Fury, Olijade Olatunj, known as KSI has offered his sparring partners his bonus pay to knock him out.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer faces a huge challenge in his professional boxing career as he faces Tommy Fury, the brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury this weekend.
KSI’s training approach for the fight is reportedly intense, with London Shootfighters head coach Alexis Demetriades saying that KSI has been training exclusively with some professional boxers.
Demetriades emphasized that these sparring partners are not holding back and are genuinely pushing to challenge KSI.
He said, “They’re trying to kill JJ, and there’s bonus money on the table for them to knock him out.”
Despite being considered as the underdog in the matchup, KSI reveals he is confident, and has a clear game plan.
“Tommy has got some certain combinations that he likes doing that he’s pretty good at and we’re looking out for that.
“Obviously he’s a big guy that likes to clinch so we’re going to be watching that and we’re going to fight him.
“Just go in there and fight, go crazy, it’s simple. I’m going to test that chin and I’m going to show him that my power is different to Jake Paul,” the Nigerian said.
