Jamie Lynn Spears helped her daughter Maddie get ready for her first homecoming dance.
The “Zoey 101” alum, 31, posed for sweet photos with the 14-year-old, who attended the high school event in a glittery purple dress and white heels.
“When ya find out ya have an extra day off work, so ya load up the toddler, drive 7 hours, & get to surprise your oldest for Homecoming weekend,” Spears captioned an Instagram slideshow Sunday.
“Nothing else I’d rather do & Nowhere else I’d rather be.”
The actress’ mom, Lynne Spears, gushed over her granddaughter in the comments section.
“Where does the time go? ❤️😢,” Lynne, 67, wrote. “one minute little girl, then next my stunningly beautiful young lady!”
Jamie Lynn posted more photos via Instagram Stories, from Maddie smiling with her fellow freshman softball players to making silly faces beside her date.
The “Sweet Magnolias” star, who is also the mother of 4-year-old daughter Ivey, wanted her eldest child to wear fluffy white sandals to the dance.
“She wasn’t into it, which was when I decided to embarrass her a bit & wear them while we took their pics [because] I’m petty,” Jamie Lynn told her followers.
“Of course, she looked beautiful in the shoes she chose,” the former Nickelodeon star continued. “Most importantly, she felt good, which is ALL that truly matters, and I did change back to my normal shoes for the group pictures, but I will be wearing my fun new shoes in the future.”
Maddie started high school in August, three months after Jamie Lynn documented her middle school graduation ceremony.
“time literally flies by…..don’t take a second of it for granted,” the country singer wrote via Instagram last month.
Jamie welcomed her daughter in 2018 with her then-fiancé Casey Aldridge.
The “Things I Should Have Said” author went on to wed Jamie Watson in 2014, and she gave birth to Ivey four years later.
“I was an 18 year old single mom, when this guy came into my life, he made me laugh more then I ever had before, and his never changing consistency gave me stability for the first time in my life,” she wrote via Instagram in March.
“Maybe, it was just because he was 10 years older, and had already established a successful life for himself both personally and professionally, but nonetheless, I felt a sense of peace with him. I think that’s what being in love is suppose to feel like, just feeling at peace.”
