“In The Days of My Lowest Lows, I Used Hostel Toilet Water to Soak Garri” – Laycon Recounts Days of Little Beginning

Laycon, a reality famous and former Big Brother Naija Lockdown Season 5 winner, has spoken out about the difficult times he endured many years back.

Laycon claims that in 2013, he used toilet water to soak garri for drinking since he was famished and didn’t have any money or belongings.

He also stated that the garri he soaked in toilet water did not contain sugar, and he did not have enough money to purchase a sachet of water, so he had no choice but to soak the garri in sewage water before eating it.

In his words;

“One of my lowest lows was using Shodeinde Hostel toilet water to soak garri in 2013. I was alone in my wing that weekend, and I was starving. I wasn’t hungry o, I was starving. So I soaked Garri with no sugar and used toilet tap water to drink it… as I Dey soak the garri, water dey commot for my eyes.”
