“I dey see things”- Singer Rema Speaks on His Battles With Eyesight

Nigerian musician Divine Ikubor, best known by his stage name Rema, has spoken out about his eyesight issues.

Rema stated on the red carpet of the 2024 BRIT Awards in London that he wears spectacles to improve his vision.

During an interview with Capital Xtra, the Calm Down hitmaker stated that he was diagnosed with long-sightedness, which prevents him from focusing on close things.

The Nigerian rising talent performed at this year’s BRIT Awards, the UK’s most prestigious music awards show.

Rema performed at the noteworthy event, becoming the second musician from Nigeria to do so. Burna Boy attended the concert in 2018.
