Singer, Portable breaks silence following court’s ruling

Street artiste, Habeeb Okikiola otherwise known as Portable has taken to social media to react to Ifo High Court’s ruling after spending a few days in police custody.

Earlier today, Monday April 3, 2023, the singer was granted bail by the aforementioned court after being arraigned by the Ogun State Nigerian police.

He was arraigned on six counts bordering on assault and theft of musical equipment.

In a new development, the Ifo Magistrate Court granted him bail of N300,000 with two sureties in like sums.

The court ruled that both sureties must have landed properties within the vicinity of the court.

He is to remain at the Ilaro Correctional center until he perfects the conditions of his bail. The case was adjourned to April 26.

Shortly after claims of fulfilling the conditions for his release, the singer shared new photos of himself on his Instagram page. He could be seen posing in front of a luxury car with dollar bills in his hands. Captioning the photos to thank his creator, Portable wrote: Alhamdulilahi.” See photos below:
