I dated a yahoo boy and he never gave me a dime

Big Brother Naija season 7 winner, Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has narrated her experience with a yahoo boy.

In a recent podcast with Nedu Wazobia, she recounted how she dated a yahoo boy who didn’t treat her nicely.

She went further to claim that most Yahoo boys do not give their girlfriends money. She revealed this after she was asked if she could date a broke guy.

In her words:

“Nedu I will be 26 this year. I don date, i don dey relationship. If you check my life well, there was never a time when life don good for me and i get boyfriend. In fact, once upon a time, my longest relationship, i dated a yahoo guy. Trust me, he never gave a me a dime. All he does is, youno yahoo boys, go club spray.

“Make, I even shock you, majority of yahoo boys don’t give their girlfriends money and the girl will be there not because she is getting but because ‘he get money,’ they go go club; Oluwa dollar, Oluwa billion, that title. The car, front seat. See no be cap, if na 100 yahoo boys dey Nigeria, 90 no dey give their babe money.”
