“Get Ready to lift the trophy” – President Tinubu and Peter Obi praises super eagles as they win against South Africa

• Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Peter Obi , has praised the Super Eagles for their 4-2 victory over South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

• Nigeria secured a thrilling 4-2 victory over South Africa in a penalty shootout match on February 7, 2024, with Kelechi Iheanacho scoring the winning goal.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Bafana Bafana of South Africa 4-2 on penalty points, earning praise from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in the Stade de la Paix in Bouake, Nigeria overcame South Africa 4-2 in a penalty shootout in the exciting semi-final match.

Kelechi Iheanacho of Nigeria scored the game-winning goal as replacement.
