Tijani Babaginda loses brother in ghastly motor accident

Former Super Eagles player, Tijani Babaginda was involved in a ghastly motor accident that claimed the life of his brother, Ibrahim Babaginda.

There are reports that Tijani Babaginda is in a critical but stable condition, however, no one can ascertain the cause of the accident, but the former Ajax star is currently recuperating at Shika Hospital in Zaria.

The deceased Ibrahim played for domestic clubs like Stationery Stores and Katsina United during his career.
He also was a teammate with the likes of Kanu Nwankwo and Wilson Oruma, who were in the all-conquering squad of the Nigeria U-17 team.

Tijani had a fantastic career, having played for clubs like Roda JC, VV Venlo, Gençlerbirliği, and Vitesse. He also played for the four-time European champions Ajax, scoring 20 goals in 77 games for the Dutch giants.

Tijani played for the Super Eagles at the international level, scoring five goals in 36 games for the Super Eagles.
