Chidimma Adetshina crowned Miss Universe Africa, Oceania

Nigeria’s Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina has achieved a historic feat, being crowned Miss Universe Africa and Oceania at the 73rd Miss Universe Competition, held in Mexico.

Adetshina finished as the first runner-up, trailing only behind Denmark’s Victoria Kjær Theilvig, who claimed the coveted crown.

This remarkable achievement makes Adetshina the first-ever Miss Universe Nigeria to secure a top-two spot on the global stage. Her new titles, Miss Universe Nigeria, Africa, and Oceania, celebrate her as a continental and regional ambassador for beauty, intelligence, and advocacy.
