The All Progressive Congress candidate Nasiru Gawuna was pronounced the victor of the gubernatorial election by the tribunal, and this ruling has been upheld by the Court of Appeal located in Abuja.
Governor Abba Yusuf’s election was declared void by the tribunal presided over by Justice Oluyemi Osadebay, who declared 165, 663 of his votes to be illegitimate.
The Independent National Electoral Commission did not sign or stamp the ballot papers, according to the tribunal.
