Bam Margera was spotted at a bar in Sarasota, Fla., Monday morning after spending time at a rehab facility, according to video footage obtained by TMZ.
In the clip, the “Jackass” alum, 42, could be seen walking out of the tavern with an unidentified brunette woman.
Once outside the parking lot, it appears he was stopped by fans who asked him to snap a selfie.
“When you randomly meet Bam Margera at the bar after work 🤣🤣,” photos of the former pro skateboarder putting his arm around a fan were captioned via Instagram on Monday.
Sources told TMZ that Margera met a lawyer while in treatment, who is reportedly helping him get out of his court order to be in rehab.
Although TMZ claims Margera left the facility on Sunday, the “Viva La Bam” alum’s most recent social media post shows him at a recording studio in late August, so it is unclear how long he has actually been out.
A spokesperson for the Broward Sheriff’s Office exclusively tells Page Six that the initial case involving Brandon “Bam” Margera is closed.
“Our detectives are unaware of any new missing persons report involving the listed individual,” the public information officer said Wednesday. “They are also unaware of any current court orders pertaining to him being missing in Sarasota.”
On Aug. 6, Margera’s family posted a note on his Instagram, dispelling any rumors about him being in a conservatorship, but clarified at the time that he was still “in treatment.”
“Bam is currently in treatment and we are helping him with his social media while he focuses on his recovery,” the caption read.
“We are his family who love and communicate with him to collaborate on his content and updates.”
A second post shared by Margera’s family on behalf of the reality star on Aug. 19 was a video of a podcast episode he shot with “Jackass” co-star Steve-O.
In the clip, Margera spoke about the time he “lost” over the past year with his 4-year-old son, Phoenix, adding, “I don’t want to waste any time, wasting time at any bars or anything anymore.”
It is unclear if the “Bam’s Unholy Union” alum was sober during his recent bar visit.
His reps could not immediately be reached for comment.
According to TMZ, Margera has not recently been in touch with his parents, estranged wife Nicole Boyd or his son, and is staying at a family friend’s house in Florida.
As previously reported in June, Margera tried to flee his rehab center twice.
The first time around, he was found safe in a hotel room two days after being reported missing. Two weeks later, he fled the facility again and was located a second time at a nearby hotel.
Margera was first taken to a rehab center in September 2021 when police responded to an emotional disturbance call at the Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Fla., where he was staying, and found a legal order requiring him to go to rehab.
One month later, Page Six exclusively obtained a 911 call that revealed the “Nitro Circus” alum allegedly attacked a woman while on cocaine during the incident.
His reps at the time denied the claims made on the call.
