Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta commended his team’s display following their 3-1 win over Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Leandro Trossard opened the scoring for Arsenal just before first half, with Burnley’s Josh Brownhill equalizing in the 54th minute.
However, goals from William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko secured the victory for the Gunners.
Speaking with Arsenal’s media team, Arteta expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance, acknowledging their maturity and hunger during critical moments.
He praised the players for their approach even after Fabio Vieira’s red card,
and emphasized the team’s ability to compete consistently.
“The team is showing real maturity as well as a lot of hunger to be there and show a bit of bite and teeth in the right moments.
“I’m really pleased with the performance, the way the team played, how much the team generated, the approach we had from the beginning,” Arteta said.
