Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is reportedly open to offers for David Alaba, if such deal is around €40 million for the defender.
Real Madrid are said to be disappointed with Alaba’s inconsistent performances this season, particularly for Perez, who is purportedly unhappy with the player’s contributions.
Alaba, who arrived at Real Madrid on a free transfer from Bayern Munich in 2021, has been a valuable asset for the club before now.
However, he had one of his less impressive outings in Real Madrid 3-1 La Liga derby loss to Atletico Madrid last month.
Meanwhile, Alaba’s contract with Real Madrid extends until the summer of 2025, and he has played 94 matches across various competitions since his transfer.
The 31-year-old has had an illustrious career, especially contributing to Bayern Munich’s many achievements in the past. Giving his age, it remains uncertain if any club will be willing to table Perez’s figures.
