A Nigerian lady has come online to narrate how she was named after the woman who broke her dad’s heart when he was broke.
The lady who responded to a question by another X user asking if people knew the reasons behind their names.
She responded using her account, @Moonlightdina, saying;
“Madina….I was named after the woman who broke my daddys heart when he was broke. Idk what’s my own o😭😭”
She admitted knowing after a family friend told her the story, also stating that her mother did not discover the origin of the name until years later.
Many citizens have left their thoughts in the comments on the matter.
