Simi fumes over claims of having fake accent

Famous Afropop singer, Simisola Kosoko, widely known as Simi, reacts to the accusations of speaking with a fake accent.

The talented artist behind the hit song ‘Duduke‘ had faced mockery from online trolls who suggested that she imitates an American accent when speaking.

However, Simi took to her social media platform to address these critics in a video message, firmly asserting that she does not fake her accent and confidently stating that she speaks with fluency and authenticity.

“Let me tell you something that gets on my nerves; when some motherf*ckers come on here saying I’m forming ascent. Do I really seem like the kind of person that will care about how anybody feels about how I talk?

Like I sit down and I plan, this is how we are going to use this ascent today? I don’t give a f*ck. Do I sound like I’m struggling when I’m talking?” she said.
