Yvonne Jegede, a Nollywood actress, drums supports for her colleague Yul Edochie amid criticism over his second marriage to a new wife Judy Austin.
Despite his marriage to May Edochie, Yul married a second wife, a film industry colleague named Judy Austin.
During an interview with The Honest Bunch podcast, Yvonne maintained that Yul had done nothing illegal, noting that many of his detractors come from polygamous homes.
She questioned why people condemned Yul while praising Regina Daniels, who is also in a polygamous marriage.
Yvonne saw the irony that Regina is frequently cited as a role model, with many expressing a wish to be in her position.
Yvonne Jegede explains why she supports Yul Edochie taking a second wife.
“You see this Yul Edochie ehnnn, 99% of people abusing him are from second wives, third wives, fourth wives ahd fifth wives. Sometimes wife that the family doesn’t know about.
“Let us stop being silly on the internet. I don’t see anything he has done wrong. I no dem go tear me to pieces when this interview gets uploaded.
“Why are you guys cursing him and making Regina Daniels your prayer point, only she fit advice you for marriage”.
