A Nigerian woman shared her joy after a young girl she had encountered in 2023 at ShopRite, Akure, and whose WAEC fees she had paid, reached out to show her successful results.
The woman posted a screenshot on her X page (formerly Twitter), revealing the girl’s message and her results, showing she had passed all her subjects.
In the post, the woman recounted: “Last year, I randomly paid the fees for a girl I saw looking … at Akure’s ShopRite.”
“She just messaged me, and I’m about to cry. She got all credits despite the hardship! I’m so proud, and my heart is full! I had even forgotten about it, but the universe needed to remind me why I do this and why I must keep going! For the young girls in Akure, your dreams are valid!”
Her heartfelt post sparked a flood of comments, with many users applauding her generosity and celebrating the girl’s success.

@dammy_olawaye: “God bless you for this. Please can we get her out of this country. Is there a way to help sit for SAT and pursue the course of her dreams on scholarship please 🙏 . I’m willing to follow up on this, her dream must not die.”
