Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has received another gold certification with Beyonce on “Brown Skin Girl” record in the United States.
The Grammy Award-nominated singer, whose song “Come Closer,” featuring Canadian heavyweight rapper Drake, was the first to receive a gold certification in the US, built on that momentum with “Essence,” featuring Tems (which has since gone platinum), and on Monday, August 8th, 2022, the singer added another gold with Beyonce’s “Brown Skin Girl,” in which he and Blue-Ivy Carter were featured.
“Brown Skin Girl” is a single from the ‘Lion King: The Gift album‘, which was produced by Beyonce.
It has officially sold over 500,000 units in the United States.
