As his new year resolution, Willy Paul vowed to remain single, insisting that no woman deserves his love and affection.

In August 2021, Miss P sensationally claimed that Willy Paul raped her multiple times when she was signed to his Saldido record label.
However, while speaking to YouTuber Nicholas Kioko in April 2023, Miss P admitted that she lied about being raped by Willy Paul.
After the rape story went viral, Willy Paul faced backlash and was harshly judged even though it was not proven if the allegations were actually true.
For this reason, many people have been urging Willy Paul to sue Miss P for defamation because of went he went through after she claimed that he raped her.
However, Willy Paul said he would not sue Miss P because he still loved her.
Miss P and Willy Paul reconciled in April 2023 but by July same year they had broken up again.
Following the breakup with Miss P, Willy Paul took to Instagram and encouraged interested ladies to seize the opportunity and shoot their shot, emphasizing that time waits for no one.
