Why I Keep My Private Life Away From Social Media – Broda Shaggi

Samuel Perry, the Nigerian skit maker better known as Broda Shaggi, has explained why he maintains his personal life separate from internet drama.

He remarked in a recent interview with actress Iyabo Ojo.

Shaggi claims that his private life is vital to him, which is why he strives to safeguard it.

He stated that it is the reason he loves intimate weddings over grandiose ones.

He also stated that he believes in love, family, and raising children.

“I am not a fan of big weddings. Even if I am going to get married, I am not a fan of big weddings,” he said.

“I do not know if you have noticed, I keep my personal life out of social media space. Because my personal life is very important to me and I just want to protect it.

“But I believe in love. I believe in one-man-one-woman type of love. I believe in family. I believe in raising my own kids.

“I am going to have my own family by God’s grace but not very soon. There is nothing like getting old. I do tell people, you do not need to rush into marriage.”

Shaggi is a graduate of creative arts from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
