Who Else Is Happy That Nigeria Was Disqualified From World Cup?

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup after losing on away goals to Ghana and I’m happy for that.
Although the match ended 1-1 and 1-1 on aggregate, the away goal by Ghana secured the World Cup ticket for the Black Stars. Congratulations to them!

How many times has Nigeria qualified for World Cup? Nigeria has qualified for six FIFA World Cup finals, advancing from the group stage three times (1994, 1998 and 2014), getting knocked out in the round of 16 all three times. So of what benefit if they had won Ghana last night? Waste of time.
And then, there is so much going on in the country, World Cup should be the least of our worries. They should have withdrew from the tournament. Nigerians don’t need WORLD CUP. We need good governance, good political leaders, anything else is irrelevant and unnecessary.
Imagine what happened after the match. A foreigner was killed.
Usher Komugisha, who is an award-winning African football journalist that has featured on Al Jazeera, BBC, CNN, ESPN, SuperSport & Sky Sports, tweeted,
“Really sad that Zambian doctor Joseph Kabungo who was working as the CAF/FIFA Medical Officer at the Nigeria v Ghana game in Abuja yesterday was beaten by fans until he lost his consciousness. There were efforts to save his life but he didn’t make it. May his soul rest in peace.”Really sad that Zambian doctor Joseph Kabungo who was working as the CAF/FIFA Medical Officer at the Nigeria v Ghana game in Abuja yesterday was beaten by fans until he lost his consciousness. I’m pretty some of you out there are happy we didn’t qualify for the world cup too.
