A recent video from Rema’s interview has created a buzz online.
The “Calm Down” artist stirred up the music industry by saying he ranks among the big three artists: Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid.
In another clip from his chat with Breakfast Club, Rema discussed how he felt after earning his first fifty million naira.
Rema talked about the challenges he faced on the streets. He mentioned that he wasn’t worried after earning his first big paycheck as a rising singer.
Instead of spending it on himself, he bought a car for his mom and a musical instrument for a church.
“When I made my first 50 million I was not fret. I got my mum a car and I bought instrument for the church,” Rema said.
The singer remembered the tough times he faced after the loss of his father and older brother.
