Last week, the family of Mr. Ibu said one of the actor’s legs had been amputated.

They revealed that after seven successful surgeries, the actor’s leg was amputated “to keep him alive and increase his chances of recovery”.

The actor’s family appreciated those who have supported him on his road to recovery.

They also called for more assistance from Nigerians.

Daniel Okafor, the second son to Mr Ibu, recently debunked claims by Stella Okafor, the actor’s wife, that Jasmine, Mr. Ibu’s adopted child, hijacked his bank account.

Stella took to her Instagram page on Sunday to allege that Jasmine hijacked the bank account where money was donated for the ailing actor by well-meaning Nigerians.
