Nollywood actress Bukunmi Oluwashina has expressed her gratitude to her fans for the love and support she received on her 33rd birthday.
The mother of one shared her experience on social media, recounting how her fans celebrated her new age in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
In an appreciation post, Bukunmi lamented the misinterpretation of her financial stability due to her fondness for doing giveaways online.
She stated that giving is an attribute she developed in childhood and believed in giving from the little she has. The actress further appreciated her fans who marked her new age with charitable acts.
She expressed her gratitude towards the fans who celebrated her birthday by giving to the less privileged, stating their actions were greater than gifting her the latest Benz.
In her words;
“What made me cry is reading the captions from different fan pages and realizing all of them separately believed the only thing they felt they could do for me on my birthday that would make me really happy is ‘Giving to the needy’. Because they know how much the act means to me.”
She acknowledged the fans in the UK who brought gifts on behalf of @the_bk_tribe, thanking them for their generosity and apologizing for not being available to receive the gifts.
Bukunmi expressed her gratitude to her fans, saying:
“Thank you all. And thank you to the UK fans that brought gifts…I owe you all a lunch date. SEE YOU ALL HERE AGAIN, ON THE 21ST OF MAY”
