According to hitztv, Sabinus was involved in a horrifying road accident in September 2022. After learning of the incident during his alleged secret wedding engagement, his fans expressed their concerns on social media.
Sabinus told Sunday Scoop, months after the incident, over the weekend, that the accident taught him to be closer to God.
The accident taught me to hold God close. Also, people should never drink and drive, Sabinus said.
Remember that the collision was allegedly caused by a drunk driver.
When asked about his content creation, the Port Harcourt-born comedian expressed satisfaction with the impact his comedy skits had on people’s lives.
Sabinus added;
Every day is a hassle; so I tend to make sure my videos put smiles on people’s faces. The world needs more laughter. The world needs to be happy despite everything that is going on.
On what he has for the upcoming content creators, he said;
Ensure that you are consistent in whatever you do; irrespective of the low engagement and support you might be getting. Keep going, and you will definitely have your own audience. The sky is wide enough for every bird to fly.
Sabinus acknowledged that it feels great to be sought after as a content creator.
He said;
It feels ‘hooge’! I am grateful to God for how far He has brought me and how intentional He is about me. Also, this wouldn’t have been possible without my family, team, friends, and wonderful fans.
