What doesn't kill you makes you stronger - Rudiger writes after leaving pitch in blood during UCL match

Real Madrid star, Antonio Rudiger has shared an update after putting his body on the line against Shakhtar Donestk, to salvage a 1-1 draw for his club in a UEFA Champions League (UCL) match at the Polish Army Stadium in Warsaw.

The Germany international suffered a nasty facial injury while scoring Madrid’s last-gasp equaliser in Warsaw.

Oleksandr Zubkov gave Shakhtar the lead early in the second half, but the defender wrapped up Real Madrid’s qualification from the group stages with his dramatic late header after being picked out by Toni Kroos with an inch-perfect pass from deep.
