Liverpool suffered their first defeat of the season as Callum Hudson-Odoi’s second-half stunner secured a shocking 1-0 victory for Nottingham Forest at Anfield. Hudson-Odoi, who came off the bench, curled a fine shot into the far corner in the 72nd minute. Despite dominating the game with 14 shots and five on target, Liverpool couldn’t find a way through Forest’s goalkeeper.
Manchester City 2-1 Brentford
Erling Haaland’s goal-scoring form continued as Manchester City came from behind to beat Brentford 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Brentford took the lead after just 22 seconds with Yoane Wissa scoring the fastest goal of the season, but Haaland’s two clinical strikes turned the game in City’s favour. His brace made Premier League history, as he became the first player to score nine goals in the first four games of the season.
Bournemouth 0-1 Chelsea
Chelsea returned to winning ways in a thrilling Saturday night encounter against Bournemouth, courtesy of a late strike from Christopher Nkunku. The super substitute was assisted by debutant Jadon Sancho, who impressed on his first outing for the Blues, helping the side to climb 7th in the League table.
Tottenham 0-1 Arsenal
Gabriel Magalhaes scored the decisive goal for Arsenal in a tight North London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. His powerful header from a Bukayo Saka corner in the second half was enough to earn a 1-0 victory for the Gunners. Arsenal’s defence, led by Magalhaes and William Saliba, remained solid throughout, ensuring Spurs couldn’t find an equaliser.

Newcastle United who had the last dance over the weekend, secured a tough 2-1 win over Wolves at Molineux. Wolves took the lead in the first half with a well-worked team goal finished by Mario Lemina, but Newcastle responded with two brilliant long-range goals from Fabian Schar and Harvey Barnes.
