In a phone interview with Ankali Ray, music producer J Blessing said that he played the role of mediator for the two artists to finally make peace.
According to him they have been trying for four years to end the bad blood and it was finally successful after an 8 hour long meeting.
“They are my boys. We have been talking a bout this story for a very long time right now it is four years of trying. I thank God that Sunday was the end. I thank both of them. They are good boys, I have stayed with them in one house when they were young. I understand them, they understand me.
“They are good people its just that when Satan wants to come in, he will look for a loophole, if you don’t take care of that it might be able to hurt you. We talked for more than 8 hours at night, we finished talking around in the morning, and when you see the way they were talking, I didn’t know some stories they were sharing, but they meant it,” J Blessing said.
He however declined revealing who extended the olive branch between the duo, only stating that they both wanted to make peace, considering that their fight had even landed in court.
J Blessing also noted that he is not aware if they plan for a collabo but noted it wouldn’t b difficult now that they are in talking terms.
“That is not the most important thing, the most important thing is the brotherhood between them. If they are talking, I don’t music will be a difficult thing to them,” he concluded.
After putting aside their differences, Willy Paul took to social media with an apology to Diana and her children saying his actions were never intended to cause them harm.
Bahati on the other hand accepted the apology, reminiscing their old days in Mathare slums.
“We make a lot of mistakes but what matters is going back and rectifying where we think we did it wrong as our God is a God of Love and Second chances. Above all no mistake is greater than the brotherhood we share,” he said.
