YouTuber Mungai Eve was forced to apologize to Akothee after she threatened to take legal action against her.

In a statement posted on her Facebook page, Mungai Eve through her husband Director Trevor said they were sorry for publishing misleading information about Akothee’s failed marriage to her Swiss ex-husband Denis Schweizer aka ‘Omosh’.

Eve Mungai issued the apology after Akothee threatened to sue online journalists for using her name to gain followers.

The controversial singer accused bloggers of focusing on her personal issues and ignoring her achievements in music and business.

Akothee threatened to slap bloggers with a Ksh300 million compensation demand if they post anything that tarnishes her reputation.

“I don’t need you, you need news about me. It’s enough! Stop posting me, I don’t want it!” Akothee wrote on Facebook.
