According to her, before their encounter, her life was difficult and even raising rent was even a struggle.
“I was struggling, I didn’t know where next rent would come from. I don’t know how or who introduced me to Babu Owino those days. I was living in a single room in Kileleshwa, along Kandara Road. I think dude could tell I was struggling for real,” she shared on Instagram.
She stated that the MP questioned whether she was tired of living ‘hand to mouth.’
“One day, Babu calls me, picks me up in a Benz! Yes, the man had a Benz back then. I guess he could see I was really trying! He asked me, ‘Are you tired of living hand-to-mouth?’ But was I even living? We drove around Arboretum, and he showed me how to make money! The rest is history. But he opened my eyes to poverty,” she said.
She went on to acknowledge Babu Owino as great man who wouldn’t just watch when youths are struggling.
“He will get y’all to the $$$,” Huddah said.
At the same time, she urged her followers not to forget about those who helped them succeed.
“You don’t need to meet but always add them in your prayer. Nimetoka far na pia wewe you can,” she said.
