It has been some time since James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers has really impressed his fans.

Even the most devoted followers of The Beard can admit that his last few seasons have been lackluster.

Between a couple of moves around the league, diminished drive on the court, and disappointing postseasons, Harden seemed a little gassed out and perhaps even bored.

That’s a shame because when you look back at the player during his glory days, you see a man who had complete command of the floor and put opponents to shame.

For example, he had the sort of crossover step-back that literally left others flat on their back sides.

He did it all with pizzaz, personality, and ease.

This is the sort of Harden that fans are hoping to see again – but will they?

Harden Going Hard

Apparently, Harden has had enough.

He saw that his 76ers didn’t make it far enough in the playoffs last season and he took it upon himself to step up his game.

Not only did Harden agree to a pay cut so Philly could acquire more talent, but he also hit the gym to tone his body, perfect his shot, and get prepared for the new season.

The latest footage of Harden shows him looking healthy and ready to play, a very promising sign for fans of the team.

Now everyone just has to wait and see if Harden plays like his older self.

Will Philadelphia fans be treated to more moves like the one showcased above?

If Harden plays like that again, the 76ers really do have a chance at finally fulfilling the promise they have made to fans.
