Fulton County D.A. Fani Willis is clapping back at all of the folks attacking her for her indicting another Atlanta gang using their rap lyrics. D.A. Willis has previously led an indictment that has seen Young Thug, Gunna — and other members of their YSL collective — taken down in a RICO and thrown in jail.
Despite new claims of being threatened by the rappers’ fans. the D.A. continues to do her job with another ATL gang called DrugRixh.
In a new 220-count RICO indictment against DrugRixh Gang, there’s at least 26 alleged members that have been charged with plotting and carrying out a string of home invasions and burglaries across the area for over a year.
Among 16 alleged victims targeted, some of them are celebrities like singer Mariah Carey, ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Marlo Hampton, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley, plus Brittni Mealy, a woman who shares a child with rapper Future.
During a press conference, Willis fired back at those criticizing her for using rap lyrics to get her suspects. She said, “If you decide to admit your crimes over a beat, I’m gonna use it. I have some legal advice: don’t confess to crimes on rap lyrics if you do not want them used, or at least get out of my county.”
