The defamation case involving Martins Otse, also known as Verydarkman, and human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) along with his son, Folarin Falana, known as Falz, has been postponed by Justice Mathias Dawodu at a Lagos High Court in Ikeja.

The new date for the hearing is January 23, 2025. Reports indicate that the case could not move forward because many applications from both sides were missing from the court file.

GistLover previously reported that the Falanas initiated the lawsuit against VDM due to alleged defamatory posts online.

Just minutes after the court’s decision was announced, an excited VDM posted a video showcasing his dance moves.

He praised his legal team and mentioned that Nigeria is for everyone, while subtly criticizing the Falanas.

He wrote in his caption:

“Nobody get Nigeria, at the end them no be God.”

Remember that VDM gained attention when he posted a video of himself dressed in traditional priest-like clothing while arriving at court with his team.
