On Tuesday, October 3, the former Charger Academy fourth grade teacher appeared in court.
The hearing centered on a string of messages and phone calls that the mother of two reportedly had with the victim.
The teacher claimed to be pregnant and prepared to give birth to her third child during one of her phone calls.
“This baby will be raised by me. She said on the recording aired in court, “I can do this.
She had previously told the youngster that if he told the police about their relationship, he would “regret” it.
McCommon’s pregnancy has not been formally confirmed by the authorities, or whether the 12-year-old boy is the father.
She also hinted at being pregnant in a separate text message. “I have to tell you something that is serious and huge that deals with you,” she wrote according to local news outlet, Fox 13.
“This was a mistake, this is my burden. OMG delete this number, please don’t get me in trouble,” another alleged text from McCommon read. “I will never text you again. You will never hear from me again, just please don’t say anything,” the ex-teacher could purportedly be heard saying on an audio clip.
Beginning in 2021, she lost her job at Charger Academy after being accused of having sex with the ex-student in her house. The Covington Police Department claims that she also exchanged explicit messages with a number of other students, including giving them photographs of her genitalia and requesting sex from them.
McCommon was once again lodged in the Tipton County Jail, and his next court appearance is scheduled for Monday, November 27.
