Karangu Muraya had accompanied apostle John Paul to India to seek cancer treatment but they were detained at the airport.

The Akorino musician, Paul and another person they were with were detained by Indian authorities upon touch down in the country.

Immediately after landing in India, their passports were confiscated by Indian authorities who claimed that their visas were almost expiring.

The Indian authorities demanded that the trio travel back to Kenya to get new visa before travelling back to India to seek medical treatment.

Unfortunately there was no immediate flight home and they were forced to sleep at the airport and spend the whole of today before they can get a new plane home.

Karangu said that it was the worst day in his life where he was hoping that everything would go on well.

Popular Kikuyu gospel musician Loise Kim was among Kenyans who expressed their frustrations with the Indian authorities for what happened to the trio.
