The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has advised the party’s National Working Committee to be wary of opposition moles and spies.
Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State, said that the opposition would attempt to send its agents to infiltrate and undermine cohesion in the ruling party.
Felix Morka, APC Spokesman, in a statement on Friday said that Tinubu gave the charge when the party’s National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, led members of the NWC to visit him on his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate.
The APC Presidential candidate advised the committee to stand strong, and remain united and vigilant ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Tinubu pledged his total commitment to working with the party to achieve victory in the general election. He also expressed confidence in the APC NWC and its leadership.
He congratulated the committee, party members, and Nigerians for the remarkably successful conduct of the party’s National Convention that saw his emergence as its presidential candidate.
Adamu had, on his part during the visit, restated the commitment of the committee to deliver the presidency to the party, and Tinubu in the 2023 general election.
