Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks lives and breathes basketball.

Yes, he is one of the best players in the NBA but, beyond that, he’s also just a huge fan of the game and loves watching even if he isn’t playing.

That has been on full display recently, as Young has become one of the biggest cheerleaders of the WNBA and its greatest stars.

Young tweeted out his support for the women’s league, saying, “These WNBA players can GO! Y’all gotta watch.”

He later posted pictures of him watching a WNBA game in person and hugging multiple players, saying, “WNBA + NBA = FAMILY.”

Young loves the game and not just his league.

He is surely taking inspiration from the WNBA right now as he prepares for what might be his most pivotal season yet.

Hero Of The Hawks

Young is the best player on the Hawks right now and is definitely a centerpiece for its success.

He is also certainly unhappy with how last season ended.

But things are looking up for Atlanta, especially since they just added Dejounte Murray, who was traded to the squad from the San Antonio Spurs.

With Murray on board, the Hawks can greatly increase their defensive skill and become playoff contenders again.

In fact, they are now one of the most talked-about teams as the new season approaches.

While it is clear that Young has been spending a lot of time watching the WNBA but he’s also been honing his skills and preparing for the season ahead.

Fans of the Hawks are now expecting a lot from the team, Young, and Murray.

He will work very hard to not let them down.
